BMW 1-Series equipped with a three-cylinder engine

BMW unveiled the redesigned family of 1-Series. Updated penny can be recognized by the other optics, bumper and grille. Also now 1-Series can be ordered for a fee with LED lights.
From a technical point of view, the most important change was the appearance of three-cylinder 1.5-liter engine. This engine will be equipped with the initial version of the 116i. The unit provides 109 horse powers and 180 Nm of torque. From zero to 100 km / h this version accelerates in 10.9 seconds. Before restyling the car came with a 136-horsepower four-cylinder 1.6-liter unit.

Also version 116d has changed. The former 116-hp engine has become much more economical – in the combined cycle engine consumes less than 3.4 liters. There are two variants of transmission for this version 6-step “mechanics” and the 8-step “automatic”.

And changes have affected sports modification. So, the car is equipped with the same 3.0-liter engine, which was 6 horse powers more powerful (326 horsepower). Improved dynamics: acceleration from zero to 100 km / h now takes 4.7 seconds.
