BMW first introduced the seven-seat compact van Gran Tourer

BMW has officially unveiled a new version compact van 2-Series, which was named Gran Tourer. From Active Tourer novelty is the fact that as an option can be equipped with a third row of seats.
Overall length BMW 2-Series Gran Tourer is 4556 mm, width – 1800 mm, and height – 1608 millimeters. New car is 214 millimeters longer and 53 millimeters above the Active Tourer. The difference in size wheelbase is 110 millimeters in favor of the Gran Tourer: 2780 millimeters in width against 2670.

By increasing the dimensions of Gran Tourer received a high roofline, a reworked rear-end and a roomy trunk. In five-seat compact van version compartment volume is 645 liters (1905 liters with the rear seats folded backside), and at seven-seat- 560 gallons (1820 liters with the rear seats folded backside). In Active Tourer luggage compartment can hold 468 liters.

Third row seat backs are removed in the flat floor and the second fold in relation to 40:20:40. In addition, the second-row seats have a longitudinal adjustment of the forward or backward, they can be shifted by 130 millimeters.
