BMW has developed a virtual sports car Vision GT for Gran Turismo 6

For the console video game Gran Turismo 6 designers BMW Group Design has been developed virtual supercar Vision Gran Turismo, which served as a prototype racing car M235i Racing. In the style of a sports car German Touring Car Championship DTM, the car can be obtained in two ways – to pass a special race valid for a limited period, or buy it for play money.

To track supercar was designed developed aerodynamic body kit consisting of front bumper with another broad lower lip and enlarged vents, inserts extended wings, side skirts, a modified rear bumper with a diffuser and a massive two-level large spoiler on the trunk. The car also received a rearview camera, instead of the usual mirror deflector above the rear window and bright racing livery with logos and colors of traditional sports department BMW M GmbH. Special hallmarks of cars have also become very low clearance, many spokes bicolor wheels, air intakes and a large number of derived at the rear wheels round terminal pipe exhaust system.

Virtual car set in motion by 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine with dual turbochargers. Output power of the engine is 549 horsepower at 6200-7300 rpm and its maximum torque of 680 Nm at 1900 rpm. Thrust is transmitted to the rear axle by a sequential six-speed gearbox, fitted paddles.
