BMW M2 has got an exhaust control via Bluetooth

BMW has unveiled a list of options that are available for charged M Performance M2 coupe. It includes both traditional aerodynamic components, as well as for interior accessories, and original solutions.

The optional exhaust system is equipped with a damper, controlled an exhaust gas stream. There are two modes – Sport and Track, which can be controlled remotely by a smartphone via Bluetooth. Sport mode is designed for over the public roads, and the second one is more suitable for short-term use. The carmakers also propose two variants of exhaust ends – glossy with an 80 mm diameter and 93 mm carbon fiber.

In addition, M Performance aerodynamic package contains a set of aerodynamics components of a reinforced carbon polymer (CFRP or carbon fiber), which includes front and side sills with LED lights, a rear diffuser and side mirror housing. Inside, it can be also installed steel pedals and a steering wheel with Alcantara covering or a wheel with integrated race display and carbon trim. At extra cost, Bavarians offer to equip the M2 coupe with a sportier M Perfomance suspension that let reducing a ground clearance by more than five mm. Besides, shock absorbers have 16 provisions to adjust the rebound and 12 – to change the stiffness.
