BMW revealed its 2016 M6 GT3 racer beast

BMW auto maker has unveiled the first sketches of new racing BMW M6 GT3 four-door coupe, designed to compete in BMW Sports Trophy 2016.

BMW M6 GT3 will replace the Z4 GT3 sport roadster. BMW Motorsport engineers have already started to develop new model, which testing is scheduled to begin for the first quarter of 2015. Under the hood of the sports car BMW will install the previous 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine of the road-going car. The race car will be able to develop significantly more than the standard 560 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque due to a wide set of improvements. It will sound thunderously fantastic. Four leather seats will be replaced by a racing bucket made of lightweight materials. BMW will install the intricate bonnet vents, huge rear wing; its amazing paintjob you can observe on pictures.

Engineers also plan to upgrade the brand four-door coupe chassis and to install the racing transmission, controlling new electronics, and the anti-lock system. As BMW says, the car will feature the highest standards in motor sport industry. The racing BMW M6 GT3 versions will be released to customers in late 2015; it will hit the track in 2016. The price hasn’t been announced yet.
