BMW will show first front-drive hatchback Concept Active Tourer

At the Motor Show in Paris, BMW will present a prototype BMW Concept Active Tourer.
Active Tourer is the first in the history of front-wheel drive model. Design Concept gives an idea of how the future will look like the model BMW.
A hybrid car equipped with a new 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine, an electric motor and lithium-ion batteries. The total capacity of the power plant Active Tourer is 190 horsepower. The machine is able to accelerate to 200 kilometers per hour, the first “hundred” hybrid pick up in less than eight seconds.

Fuel consumption Active Tourer is 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers. The car is cruising on electricity is about 32 kilometers away, while the hybrid battery can be recharged from a 220-volt outlet, but a necessary one for that amount of time is not reported.
