Updated touring bike BMW K1600GTL of 2017 model year

German manufacturer BMW presented updated touring bike K1600GTL of 2017 model year at the show EICMA 2016. The updates mainly affected the six-cylinder engine, which became now meets all the European environmental standards. It was noted that the capacity and other technical characteristics are not changed. The bike still produces 160 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque.

New bike demonstrates improved dynamics and controllability. Touring BMW K160GTL received more comfortable fit due to the shift of steering and changed angle of footpeg mountings; windscreen was also improved. Standard equipment includes the protection for the feet and two additional glovebox. Mirrors mountings also got new design, now they have wider viewing angle and additional spherical insert.

2017 BMW K1600GTL basic equipment includes adjustable traction control system, ESA suspension and anti-lock system. GSAP reversing system is offered as an option. As the manufacturer notes, BMW K1600GTL 2017 will go on sale in the middle of next year. The model will be available in black, gray and white colors.
