BMW is testing 5-Series new generation at the Nurburgring

The BMW Group continues to test new-generation 5-Series. Photospies managed to shoot a novelty in the sedan during testing at the famous Nürburgring. Car sales will begin in this month.
As we can see the new sedan is hidden under camouflage. At the moment, we can say that the car will get a different grille, enlarged modified air intakes, doors and other wheels. The car will be built on a platform 35up. In the development of the car is actively used carbon fiber. This allowed the model to lose 100 kilograms. The line of 5-Series engines has got more powerful units, including hybrid plant with capacity of 270 horsepower. Average fuel consumption of the hybrid “five” will be about 3 liters per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle. The top of the car modification will receive a 4.4-liter gasoline turbo V8. The power of the engine will be around 626 horsepower.
