Today we want to talk about the tuning of the BMW cars. Many people argue that the BMW cars are already at the best level of their development, thus tuning brings no sense in the end. But still the BMW cars are one of the most frequently tuned cars at the market, and so in this article we will talk about the tuned version of the BMW X6 model. Swiss tuner Sportec submitted to the company a new set of options for the 2013 BMW X6.

Almost all specialists kept his attention focused on the 3.0-liter diesel engine, which is the default configuration and provides 300 hp and 406 Nm of torque. Once they have reprogrammed ECU and installed a sport exhaust system with carbon Akropovic tips, engine power increased to 370 hp and 749 Nm of torque.

From 0 to 100 km/h a more powerful crossover X6 can now accelerate in 5.4 seconds, that is 1.1 seconds faster than the standard version of the BMW X6 xDrive40d. Top speed is also increased from 209 km/h to 264 km/h. Also it has been refined to the eight-automatic transmission by the Steptronic, which is now much faster in switching speed, and installed a set of new 20-inch alloy wheels OZ, which allowed to reduce the car’s weight by 40 kg.
